A Young Person’s Call to Care
Courtney Tanaka Makuya represents a new generation of young Africans who refuse to sit on the sidelines. As a third-year law student in Zambia, she sees inequality not as a distant problem, but as a call to action. Through her involvement with the Volunteers Association of Zimbabwe (VAZ), Courtney is turning conviction into impact proving that meaningful change often begins with simple, intentional acts of care, like giving what you can to uplift others.
